We started
with stories.

Oo La Lab began with a belief that scent could tell human stories. A person, a place, a memory, expressed through fragrance.

We opened the lab so people could tell their own.

As we went deeper, we recognised a deeper need. Beyond self-expression was a desire to feel better. To reconnect with ourselves and find connection with others.

That changed our purpose.

We’re here to
help people
heal.

Our mission is to help people heal through sensory experience.

The work

Bring the senses
back into
everyday life.

We’re bringing fragrance and sound together to create space for that work. Time to pay attention to yourself.

To explore how you feel, choose an intention and make something you can carry into everyday life.

Our curiosity

The Science
of Feeling™

We care about what happens between a sensory stimulus and a human response. We study the materials, question the mechanisms and explore what becomes possible when the senses work together.

Our ambition is to make that exploration useful in people’s lives.

Where the work takes shape

A feeling.
A fragrance.
A practice.

The Frequency Lab is one expression of our mission. A guided encounter with scent and sound that continues beyond the session, through the fragrance you wear and the track you return to.

A continuing question

It all started with an intense curiosity about the human condition. We went from olfactory storytelling to sensorial anthropology, and arrived at a deeper purpose: to bring people together and to help people heal.
